Hanging and hunting from treestands isn’t always easy.

I wasn’t able to hunt out of a treestand for years. First, I was unable to hang a stand by myself. And I didn’t feel comfortable hunting from one. The biggest reason was my fear of heights, and the fear of falling.

Over the years, that has all changed, and now you’ll reguarly find me in a stand when deer hunting. The safety systems in place today make hanging and hunting from a stand enjoyable.
