Whitetail deer are very unpredictable during the rut. They usually don’t attack people, yet any semblance of a mating rival is fair game.
An outfitter on Maryland’s Eastern shore was irate about someone destroying his small 3-D course one morning until he noticed the tine marks in each of the dismembered targets. Apparently a buck had attacked each of them during the night. What you will see is very unusual behavior for a whitetail deer and extremely dangerous.
