A lot of hunters are turning to turkey fans for decoys. With that comes much discussion about the wisdom and potential safety hazards of using such a technique.
I would agree that it’s not a good tactic to employ when other hunters are nearby; they could easily mistake you for a bird and take a shot at you. But on private ground, it might be just the thing you need to ensure the killing of your next longbeard.
