If you want an attractant that will bring a parade of deer to your trail cameras, consider making a mineral site. The diet of most whitetail deer is deficient of minerals, due to what they consume in mountainous or remote areas. Additionally, a mineral lick will eliminate the squirrel and raccoon stampede associated with most deer baits.
