When a bull elk bugles, the hair on the back of my neck stands up, and goose bumps from over my skin. If you have ever heard a bugling elk, you know exactly what I am talking about.
I know that the elk rut is prime time to be hunting, but my may concern would be that I would get elk fever when a big bull elk stepped in front of me and started bugling.
This hunter had no problem though. Check out this video from Born and Raised Outdoors as they shoot and kill a big bull elk in the middle of letting out a bugle.
