We’ve heard the song by the Da Yoopers describing their outing of hunting a 30-point buck. Many of us have dreamed of harvesting such an animal. How would you feel if you actually pulled off that feat, only to turn the buck over to field dress it and realize a couple things were missing?

That’s exactly what happened to hunter Richard Lomas in Illinois a few years ago. This story has been around for some time, but it just goes to show you that everything is not always what it seems. Especially for outdoorsmen and women.
