We loved the new Alpha hunting outfit for a variety of reasons, and took the above photo as we packed for the trip.  Africa in August is like February in the states; the mornings and evenings are really cold. Plus, riding in open vehicles taxes the windproof ability of any garment. No problem for us.

African game has the nose of a whitetail and they often travel in herds, where one whiff of human scent sends the entire bunch stampeding.
