The early fall hunting season is a time of warm days and cool nights, perfect for scaly creatures that crawl and rattle through the autumn deer woods.
Fortunately, rattlesnakes — which definitely fits the above description — aren’t aggressive. But they are dangerous and may be an endangered species in your state, making them illegal to kill.
