Why You Need to Practice Your Kill Shots [VIDEO]

Deer hunters are great at practicing with their guns or bow and arrows to establish form and confidence. But you also should be practicing your kill shots from stands, ground blinds and unusual positions with your hunting clothing on to be confident in those situations.

John Wooden, the famous UCLA coach preached, “Practice does not make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect.” That’s why he had his team practice and practice until they got it right… and then he had them practice more.

Bowhunting is mostly fun, yet it can get very stressful when that big buck steps out from behind cover. You’ve anticipated this event the entire season, and now your practice sessions will make or break the shot. This video makes the point with many illustrations.
