Crossbows have inherently poor triggers. No doubt, the hard pull and travel are instigated by legal precautions. For 2017, Barnett has taken a “performance route” by adding Trigger Tech triggers to all of their new models costing more than $300. This is a $200 option and well worth the price, yet Barnett does not pass the cost of this upgrade onto the customer. Additionally, arrow retention springs can cause trouble, especially when cocking a bow in the dark. If not done properly, the cocking rope can catch the spring and bend it like an inchworm, greatly contaminating accuracy and making the bow dangerous to shoot. Barnett’s new brush system eliminates this potential problem and makes the bow quieter as well. Check out this Facebook video and you will see these improvements: www.barnettcrossbows.com
