If you shoot a 3-D target much, you know that eventually you’ll either have to repair it or buy a new one. These targets are not cheap, so it only makes sense to repair the one you have. A lot of people don’t know where to begin. Fortunately, Outdoor Life has all the information you need to patch your 3-D target for a fraction of the price of a new one.

Eventaually, the patchwork will begin to fail, and you’ll have to purchase a new target. After all, they only last for so long. But at least you’ll have added to the lifespan of your target.

Wrap the target with self-adhesive drywall joint tape, leaving enough of an opening on one side to fit the tip of the sealant can nozzle into.
