The Ultimate Cutting Board for Jerky

This cutting board could change how you make jerky.

Do you like making jerky from the deer you killed?  Maybe you prefer to use beef you bought from the store to make jerky rather than paying the high prices for store bought.

Well, things just got a little easier for you when making your own jerky.

Hi Mountain Seasonings, the flavor leader in jerky and seasonings, has introduced its innovative, patent-pending Ultimate Jerky Cutting Board to make quick work of safely and easily slicing uniform strips of meat for making jerky. The HMS Ultimate Jerky Cutting Board is also perfect for slicing fruits, vegetables, or any other item used on a conventional cutting board.

The Ultimate Jerky Cutting Board is molded of extremely durable polypropylene polymer. It features a 1/4-inch depth on one side, and a 3/8-inch depth on the other, with a rim around the outside and down the center that guides the knife blade for consistent cuts. Ridges on both sides trap excess liquids, and textured surfaces on the ridges grip meats while tenderizing to help seasoning penetrate the meat.

The Ultimate Jerky Cutting Board also has a textured hand protector that provides even downward pressure while keeping the blade safely away from the user’s hands. The hand protector locks into the 3/8-inch side of the cutting board, and the included 13 1/2-inch jerky knife nests inside it for easy storage. The Outdoor Edge knife features a surgically sharp, high-carbon, 420 stainless steel blade and an easy-grip, ergonomic, nonslip rubberized Kraton Handle.

A carry handle is conveniently molded into the top, making it easy to grab and go, and the nonslip rubber feet on each corner of the Ultimate Jerky Cutting Board hold it firmly in place while cutting. Simply flip the board over to use the flat surface to strip-cut jerky slices or for any other conventional-cutting board uses.

The HMS Ultimate Jerky Cutting Board is dishwasher safe, and each one is proudly made in Riverton, Wyo. It is currently available at your local Hi Mountain Seasonings retailer or conveniently online at for a suggested retail of $29.99.

Hi Mountain’s entire line of products, cooking tips, instructional videos, and recipes are also available at Hi Mountain products also can be found at high-end sporting-goods stores, farm-and-ranch stores and many local grocery stores.
