Many hunters use the same tackle for black bear as they do for whitetail deer.  Although a bruin can be several times larger than a whitetail buck, they are often downed with the same broadheads and bullets as deer hunters.  However, hunting black bear has one major difference- whitetail are prey species while bruins are predators like us.

In this intense video, you’ll see an archer using primitive gear stalking a black bear.  At first, the event looks promising as the animal turns and walks toward the hunter… an ideal situation.  However, you’ll soon see that the bear has the hunter in his sights, blurred as they may be.  https://youtu.be/PsCqmotxyME
